Music Teacher - Tamim Academy of Boca Raton

Tamim Academy of Boca Raton is seeking an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Part-Time Music Teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This role will engage elementary and middle school students in a love of music through singing, movement, rhythm, and creative expression. Teaching an instrument to students is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching music to elementary or middle school students

• Bachelor’s degree in Music, Music Education, or a related field preferred

• Knowledge of general music, vocal instruction, rhythm, and movement

• Experience teaching an instrument is a plus

• Strong classroom management and communication skills

• Positive, energetic, and engaging demeanor

• Commitment to collaboration, professional growth, and continuous improvement

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate music lessons

• Foster students’ musical skills, creativity, and confidence through group and individual instruction

• Incorporate singing, rhythm, movement, and hands-on activities

• Support school assemblies, performances, and special events

• Build strong, positive relationships with students and staff

• Participate in professional development and collaborative planning
