Job Summary:

Swan Lake Nursing & Rehabilitation is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team on a Per Diem basis. As a member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of quality and care for our residents. If you possess strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Portion and serve food items to residents

• Deliver trays and carts to resident floors

• Clean and maintain dining rooms, tray line, dish room, and pot sink areas

• Sweep and mop floors

• Dispose of trash and recyclables

• Assist with food preparation and meal setup as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• Ability to perform some physical work

• Prior experience in food service or cooking is a plus

• Positive attitude and energy are essential

• Ability to work effectively as a team member

Work Environment:

• Per Diem position with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Work in our state-of-the-art skilled nursing facility in Patchogue, NY

• Collaborate with our dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to our residents
