Location: Tucson, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

One Role. Two Important Ways to Support Our Team.Dependable Hospice & Palliative Care is looking for an organized, dependable, and detail-oriented professional to join our Tucson office as a Hospice Supply Coordinator & HR Assistant.
This unique position combines medical supply coordination with Human Resources support. You will help ensure our hospice patients and clinicians receive the supplies they need while also assisting our HR department with employee documentation, onboarding, compliance, and other administrative responsibilities.

Maintain inventory of hospice, medical, and wound care supplies
Coordinate and place patient home supply orders
Receive, organize, store, and distribute medical supplies
Maintain clean, organized, and appropriately stocked inventory areas
Track supply orders and inventory using Microsoft Excel
Communicate with DME and medical supply vendors regarding orders and deliveries
Follow up on outstanding orders to help prevent delays in patient care
Scan and upload signed physician orders into WellSky/Kinnser
Respond promptly to supply requests from nurses and other clinical team members
Maintain familiarity with commonly used hospice and wound care products
Work closely with clinical staff, billing, vendors, and office personnel
Assist with additional supply and operational needs as assigned
In addition to supply coordination, this position will provide administrative support to our Human Resources team, including:
Assist with new-hire onboarding and orientation
Help collect and review required new-hire documentation
Maintain organized employee personnel and compliance files
Scan, upload, file, and organize employee documentation
Assist with tracking licenses, certifications, credentials, and expiration dates
Follow up with employees regarding missing or expiring documentation
Assist with employment verifications and reference checks as needed
Prepare employee badges and other onboarding materials
Help maintain HR spreadsheets, reports, and tracking systems
Communicate professionally with employees regarding HR and compliance requirements
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee and patient information
Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed
High school diploma or GED required
Previous healthcare, medical supply, administrative, or HR experience preferred
Medical supply ordering or inventory experience strongly preferred
WellSky/Kinnser experience is a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong computer and data-entry skills
Ability to learn healthcare and HR software quickly
Knowledge of medical supplies, wound care products, and medical terminology preferred
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy office environment
Understanding of HIPAA and the importance of maintaining confidentiality
Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team
