Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team at the Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury, a premier rehabilitation facility in Lake Katrine, New York. As a Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, answering incoming calls, and supporting the daily operations of our facility. Responsibilities:

• Operate a multiline telephone and paging system, answer incoming calls, and route calls to the appropriate party

• Greet and direct all visitors to the facility, ensuring they sign-in and refuse entry to the facility if necessary

• Maintain accurate files and listings of residents, on-call personnel, department extensions, and key personnel

• Respond to inquiries about job openings, distribute job applications, and provide callers with information about our facility

• Receive, sort, and forward incoming mail, and coordinate the pick-up and delivery of mail services

• Report resident concerns and suspicious behavior to the appropriate department head/supervisor

• Handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality

• Work in an organized fashion, keeping the lobby and workstation clean and free of hazards

• Report hazardous conditions, damaged equipment, and supply issues to the supervisor

• Communicate effectively and interact with residents, visitors, families, and employees

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Excellent communication skills

• Solid computer skills

• Positive attitude with ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to read, write, and speak English to the extent necessary for safe and efficient performance of the job

• Flexibility to work on holidays and during inclement weather as needed

Additional Requirements:

• Ability to work part-time, specifically Thursday 4pm-9pm, Friday 4pm-9pm, and Sunday 8am-4pm

• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
