We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our hospital team in the beautiful Southern Florida Lake Okeechobee region. Job Responsibilities- Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries
- Diagnose and treat a wide variety of emergency conditions in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Work collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) during 11am-8pm shifts to ensure seamless patient care transitions
- Utilize Epower Doc EMR system for accurate and efficient patient documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with hospital protocols and standards
- Deliver patient-focused care while maintaining attention to detail in diagnosis and treatment plans
- Manage emergency department operations during assigned 12-hour shifts
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Medicine experience required
- Board Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with Emergency Department experience
- Medical License: Active Florida Medical License or eligibility to obtain Florida licensure
- Required Certifications: ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- EMR Proficiency: Experience with Epower Doc EMR system preferred
- Professional Attributes: Patient-focused, detail-oriented, collaborative team player with excellent communication skills
- Credential: MD or DO degree from accredited medical school
