Parcel Shipping Operations Specialist (UPS WorldShip/FedEx Ship Manager)

You sign in, bring up UPS WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager, and scan the morning queue of customer work orders. You verify each order, assemble any components needed, and prepare every package with care. Labels are printed, weights confirmed on the UPS meter, and parcels are staged for pickup. Throughout the day you keep the warehouse flowing—sorting items, placing product on shelves and into bins in the required sequence, and maintaining clean, logical lanes for quick retrieval. When a pallet needs to move, you hop on the lift truck. When a tool is needed, you switch to the right manufacturing machine and keep things moving.

• Verify and prepare packages for customer orders based on work orders.
• Use UPS WorldShip and FedEx software (including FedEx Ship Manager) to process, rate, and label shipments.
• Sort and place products on shelves and in bins according to a defined sequence.
• Assemble products as required prior to packing.
• Operate a computer, UPS meter, FedEx programs, and various manufacturing tools.
• Perform lift truck operations as needed to move materials.

• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort with standing, walking, reaching, and bending for extended periods.

• Experience in shipping/receiving.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Hands-on proficiency with UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and other FedEx shipping software.
• Strengths in sorting, order verification, and accuracy under time constraints.
