We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Director to lead our risk management efforts at The Blackberry Center, a Behavioral Hospital and Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center in St. Cloud, Florida. As a key member of our management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of our services.
About the Role:
As our Risk Management Director, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with our clinical operations, programs, and services. You will work closely with our leadership team, departments, and staff to develop and implement risk management strategies, protocols, and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a comprehensive risk management program that identifies, assesses, and mitigates risks associated with our clinical operations, programs, and services
Collaborate with departments and staff to identify and address potential risks, including those related to patient care, staff safety, and regulatory compliance
Develop and implement risk management policies, procedures, and protocols to minimize the risk of harm to patients and staff
Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including insurance companies, law firms, and regulatory agencies
Provide education and training to staff on risk management principles and practices
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
