Early Childhood - Assistant Teacher

The Assistant Teacher is a vital member of our educational team, working closely with Teachers and the Director to create a nurturing environment that fosters the physical, emotional, and cognitive growth of our children. Effective communication and teamwork are essential in this role, as the Assistant Teacher assists in implementing a high-quality educational program, develops positive relationships with children and their parents, and maintains accurate records of children\'s progress.

• Collaborate with Teachers to design and implement engaging curricula activities that promote children\'s interests and learning.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom environment, ensuring materials are readily available for children and staff.
• Foster open communication with parents through regular updates and progress reports, keeping them informed of their child\'s development and achievements.
• Ensure a smooth transition for children from home to child care center, providing a warm and welcoming environment.
• Comply with all center policies and state regulations, upholding the highest standards of care and education.
• Pursue ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and contribute to the continuous improvement of our educational program.

• Ability to work well with others and demonstrate high energy.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills.
• A strong understanding of child development and its various stages.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and parents.
• Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
• Ability to work afternoon shift until 6:15PM, ensuring the program runs smoothly during this period.
