Busser/Food Runner

The Rusty Rail Brewing Company in Mifflinburg is looking for a hardworking food runner/busser to add to our team!Job ResponsibilitiesBussers clearing and resetting tables- this includes wiping down tables and chairs and sweeping around the tables.Bussers should be attentive during meal service and scan the room for tables that need to be cleared. They should also make sure tables are ready for new guests.Food runners, also known as service assistants or service expediters, have many duties that support the waitstaff and ensure customers receive their food in a timely and efficient manner. Some of their responsibilities include: Communicating with staff- Food runners communicate with kitchen staff to explain orders and special requests, and with waitstaff to determine their needs.Delivering food- Food runners quickly and accurately deliver food orders from the kitchen to the correct tables.Assisting servers- Food runners can help servers properly serve food and drinks.Maintaining Cleanliness- Bussers should keep the dining area tidy and welcoming.
