QuickPro Staffing is seeking a skilled and dependable Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join a growing team. This position is ideal for someone with experience in general maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while providing excellent customer service.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and repair work on residential and commercial properties
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and HVAC-related issues
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Utilize testing equipment, including an ohmmeter, for electrical troubleshooting
- Complete repairs in accordance with safety regulations and company standards
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used
- Assist with larger maintenance projects as needed
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding maintenance needs and repairs
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
Required Qualifications
- Previous handyman, maintenance, facilities maintenance, or construction experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as required
- Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments
