Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and patient-focused Acute Care Clinical Pharmacist to join our inpatient acute care pharmacy team. This is a full-time day position with rotating weekends. This role ensures the safe, accurate, and effective use of medications while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

· Review and verify medication orders.

· Compound and dispense medications.

· Monitor medication therapy for safety and effectiveness.

· Support formulary compliance.

· Provide medication information.

· Participate in clinical pharmacy programs.

· Document interventions.

· Report medication errors.

· Support pharmacy operations.



Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

· BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited program.

· Current pharmacist license in the state of Florida or eligibility.

· Strong clinical and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

· Minimum of 1 year of acute care pharmacist experience


· PGY1 Residency accepted in place of experience. Will consider retail pharmacy experience if they have their PGY1 Residency completion



  • Compensation is based on years of experience 1 yr - 15 yrs and the rate is an hourly rate from $52/hr (1 yr) to $64/hr 15 years.
  • Relocation case will be considered on a case by case but the candidate must live a certain number of miles from the facility
  • Hourly Shift differentials are offered: 2nd Shift $2.00, 3rd Shift $4.25, Extra Shift Premium $3.00


Higher comp will be considered if the Pharmacist has PGY-1 Residency and inpatient acute hospital experience as a Pharmacist will consider retail Pharmacist as long as they have PGY-1 residency completion
