We're looking for someone to join our team as a Human Resources Coordinator who:

The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department and serves as a key contributor to employee engagement, onboarding, and internal communications initiatives. This position coordinates weekly New Employee Orientation, supports the collection of new hire documentation, manages HR recognition programs, assists with departmental reporting, and helps ensure a positive employee experience throughout the organization.

The HR Coordinator works closely with leaders, managers, and employees to support various HR programs, communications, and projects while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent customer service.


Essential Functions:


New Employee Orientation & Onboarding

  • Coordinate and facilitate weekly New Employee Orientation sessions.
  • Prepare orientation materials, packets, presentations, and training resources.
  • Ensure orientation supplies, snacks, and refreshments are ordered and available.
  • Collect and review onboarding documents to ensure completeness prior to employee start dates.
  • Assist with follow-up regarding missing new hire paperwork and onboarding requirements.
  • Partner with hiring managers and departments to support a smooth onboarding experience.

Employee Engagement & Communications

  • Coordinate the development and distribution of the monthly Human Resources newsletter.
  • Gather employee announcements, recognitions, organizational updates, and other HR-related content for publication.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
  • Promote positive workplace culture through effective communication and employee recognition activities.

Employee Recognition Programs

  • Administer the organization's "Caught Being Awesome" employee recognition program.
  • Partner with managers and department leaders to identify employee accomplishments and successes.
  • Collect employee stories, photos, and recognition submissions for publication and organizational communication.
  • Prepare recognition materials for newsletters, meetings, and other communication channels.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist with gathering, tracking, and compiling information for monthly Board Reports and HR departmental metrics.
  • Maintain organized records of employee engagement activities and recognition initiatives.
  • Support departmental projects and special assignments as requested.
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR Department.

HR Ticketing System Support

  • Monitor and assist with HR ticketing system workflow as assigned.
  • Route, assign, or escalate tickets to appropriate HR team members.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and resolution of routine employee inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records within the ticket management system.

Supplies & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate ordering and inventory management of employee scrubs, orientation supplies, and related materials.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to support operational needs.
  • Work with approved vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely ordering and delivery.

Other Duties

  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and organizational information.
  • Assist with audits, reports, and data collection projects as requested.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.


You'll be successful with the following qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative, customer service, or human resources support experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating events, orientations, employee engagement activities, or internal communications preferred.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to work a full-time schedule.
  • Must be able to pass all pre-employment screening (background check, drug tests, and references).
  • Must be able to comply with organizational behavioral standards.
