Qualifications and Expectations of a DNS / DON Director of Nursing

• Must have a valid PA RN license
• Experience as a Unit Manager in a long term care facility or
• Previous experience as a DNS / DON Director of Nursing or ADON Assistant Director of Nursing
• Ability to adapt and take on all reponsibiliteies of the DON /DNS role
