Facility: Nursing and Rehab Service Center of Novi
Position Summary:
The Administrator serves as the operational leader of the facility, overseeing all aspects of daily management, clinical coordination, financial performance, and regulatory compliance. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care while maintaining efficient business operations. The Administrator represents the organization within the community and fosters a professional, supportive environment for staff and residents.
This position requires strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to effectively balance clinical and operational priorities in a long-term care setting.
Key Responsibilities:Provide leadership, mentorship, and development for department leaders and staff, promoting a culture of professionalism and accountability.
Oversee daily operations to ensure alignment with organizational goals, performance expectations, and budgetary guidelines.
Contribute to the development and execution of the annual operating plan and financial targets.
Monitor and manage census growth, revenue cycle performance, and overall financial outcomes.
Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in collaboration with clinical leadership.
Maintain compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
Develop and implement strategic plans to support operational success and quality outcomes.
Review performance metrics regularly and collaborate with department heads to achieve established goals.
Oversee admissions processes to ensure appropriate placement based on resident needs and financial criteria.
Monitor accounts receivable and support effective revenue collection processes.
Lead performance improvement initiatives to identify opportunities and resolve operational challenges.
Address employee concerns in coordination with human resources, fostering a positive workplace culture.
Enforce policies and provide coaching or corrective action when necessary.
Review and approve payroll and staffing allocations to meet operational needs.
Ensure appropriate staffing levels and reallocate resources as needed to maintain quality care.
Promote resident satisfaction by reviewing feedback and implementing improvements.
Monitor workplace safety initiatives and claims management efforts.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Current Nursing Home Administrator license in the state of Michigan.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care environment required.
Flexibility to work varied schedules, including on-call availability as needed.
Ability to perform tasks involving walking, standing, bending, lifting, and extended periods of sitting.
