Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APN) to join our Skilled Nursing team at Avir at Camp Wood. As an APN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and exceptional outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Provide advanced nursing care to residents, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Conduct resident assessments, perform skin checks, and provide wound care as needed
Order and interpret lab results, as well as manage medications and treatments
Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and caregivers
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records and documentation
Requirements:
Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APN) certification
Minimum of [n/a] years of experience as an APN
Current RN license in the state of Texas
Strong clinical skills and knowledge
