What You'll Do

  • Implementing a variety of engaging activities to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
  • Developing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
  • Engaging in regular parent-teacher conferences to discuss progress, address concerns, and build strong relationships with families.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality educational programs.
  • Assessing and addressing behavioral issues, providing guidance and support to children as needed.
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Contributing to the creation and implementation of curriculum and lesson plans that meet the unique needs of our children.
  • Maintaining accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and special needs.
  • Providing regular updates and communication to parents on their child's progress and well-being.
  • Ensuring a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that reflects our center's values and standards.


Requirements

  • Clear criminal background check.
  • In-depth understanding of childhood development.
  • Proven experience working as a childcare teacher.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred.
  • Strong conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attentive and patient.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Child care professional (CCP) certification is advantageous.


Nice To Haves

  • A degree in early childhood education or a related field.
