We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care! As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional nutrition services to our patients while promoting a positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals and snacks to patients, residents, and staff
Maintain a clean and organized dietary department, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
Assist with meal delivery and tray service to patients in their rooms
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure their nutritional needs are met
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience
Maintain accurate records and reports related to food distribution and patient nutrition

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary or nutrition-related degree or certification preferred
Ability to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records
