Live-In Direct Support Professional

Compensation: $24-$30 per hour

You must have real, hands-on dementia or Alzheimer's care experience. This is a firm requirement and will be verified. A dementia care certificate (CDP, essentiALZ, or similar) is a huge plus.

ASG Home Care NJ is hiring a live-in Direct Support Professional for an adult gentleman with Down syndrome and later-stage Alzheimer's. He lives at home with a very sweet, involved family, and this role is meant to become a long-term live-in position with one consistent caregiver.

What you'll do:

• Full personal care: bathing, toileting, incontinence care, feeding, transfers

• Follow set daily routines and provide calm, patient dementia-informed support

• Keep the client safe (fall prevention, supervision, swallowing awareness)

• Light housekeeping and meal prep related to his care

• Document care per agency and NJ DDD requirements

What we need:

• Verifiable hands-on dementia/Alzheimer's caregiving experience (required)

• Experience with full personal care and transfers; comfortable working in tight caregiving spaces

• Able to pass all background checks and NJ DDD requirements

• Seeking a genuine long-term live-in role, not something temporary

• Calm, steady, reliable, values consistency and privacy in a quiet family home
