Prepare and cook meals for residents while following dietary requirements, special diets, and nutritional guidelines
Maintain strong knowledge of proper food preparation, storage, and handling procedures
Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards
Comply with state dietary regulations and facility policies
Provide friendly, respectful, and timely meal service to residents
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized kitchen and work area
Work collaboratively with the dietary team to ensure excellent resident satisfaction
Current ServSafe certification or ability to obtain certification
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma or GED preferred
Ability to work in a healthcare environment while maintaining resident safety and well-being
Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude
