Position Summary
The Clinical Research Assistant supports the successful execution of clinical trials by assisting with patient visits, study procedures, data collection, regulatory documentation, and participant recruitment while ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
Responsibilities
- Assist research coordinators and investigators with clinical trial visits
- Recruit, schedule, and follow up with study participants
- Collect and accurately document clinical research data
- Maintain study files and regulatory documentation
- Prepare study materials and laboratory specimens
- Ensure compliance with study protocols and GCP guidelines
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical research experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree or healthcare-related experience preferred - premed and gap year med students encouraged
- Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Experience with electronic medical records and research documentation is a plus
