Keywest Lights Inc. is seeking a Residential/Commercial Superintendent (J-Card Holder) to oversee on-site construction and ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard of quality in Seminole, FL.
Position SummaryThe Residential/Commercial Superintendent (J-Card Holder) will manage day-to-day jobsite operations for residential and commercial projects, coordinating crews, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to keep work moving efficiently. This role focuses on maintaining jobsite readiness, enforcing safety expectations, and driving consistent execution from start through completion.
You will be responsible for translating project plans and requirements into practical jobsite action, monitoring progress, resolving issues as they arise, and ensuring that work meets quality standards and project deadlines.
Key ResponsibilitiesDirect on-site construction activities, coordinating labor and subcontractors to maintain an efficient workflow.
Monitor project progress against schedules, identify risks early, and adjust plans to stay on track.
Ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with site requirements and applicable safety practices.
Verify work quality by checking workmanship, adherence to specifications, and proper installation standards.
Coordinate materials and jobsite readiness to support timely deliveries and address constraints that impact production.
Experience serving in a superintendent or equivalent jobsite leadership role for residential and/or commercial projects.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, jobsite logistics, and day-to-day field problem-solving.
Demonstrated ability to lead crews and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
Commitment to safety and the ability to enforce safe work practices on-site.
Ability to read and understand project plans, specifications, and expectations to guide execution.
Experience with multi-trade coordination and managing project timelines across different scopes of work.
Familiarity with jobsite documentation and ensuring work is properly tracked and completed to standard.
Prior experience working on projects in Florida or similar permitting/environmental conditions.
Strong communication skills with customers, trade partners, and internal stakeholders.
Weekly salary: $70,000 - $85,000
