Responsibilities:
Clean and disinfect patient rooms, bathrooms, and common areas, adhering to infection control guidelines and protocols
Restock linens, towels, and supplies as needed
Maintain a clean and organized housekeeping cart and storeroom
Respond to special requests and needs from patients, residents, and staff
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless delivery of care
Perform daily tasks such as emptying trash, washing linens, and restocking supplies
Participate in environmental services department meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical ability to lift, push, or pull heavy objects and stand for long periods
Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed
