What You'll DoAs a PA Associate, you'll help create an exceptional member experience while supporting the daily operations of the club. This is a multifaceted role where you’ll get to know regulars, learn club policies, and make a few smoothies all in the same shift!
Your responsibilities include:
- Welcome every guest and member with genuine hospitality.
- Become knowledgeable about club policies, memberships, programs, and procedures.
- Answer questions and assist members while providing thoughtful alternatives when requests cannot be accommodated.
- Process café and retail purchases using our POS system.
- Deliver food and beverage orders.
- Assist with food preparation and act within food safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting facility throughout each shift.
- Complete opening, closing, and daily operational checklists.
- Answer phone calls and respond professionally to member inquiries.
- Support club safety by responding appropriately to injuries or emergencies.
- Assist with private events
Prior Experience:
Barista, café, or food service experience is preferred.
Character:
- Friendly, reliable, and hospitality-focused.
- Excited to build community and create meaningful experiences for others.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done without being asked.
- Dependable, punctual, and accountable, including arranging shift coverage when necessary.
Pickle Athletics will provide certification if you do not already have:
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification
- Food Handler Certification
- CPR & First Aid Certification
Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift and carry up to 15 - 25 lbs (e.g., ice, boxes of retail goods, beverage pallets).
Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move continuously for the duration of a shift (4 to 8 hours).
Minimum Age: Must be 21+ due to alcohol server requirements.

Employment Type: Part-Time
Shift Availability: Primary looking for weekend availability
Hours per week: About 10 to 20 hours/week. (Standard shifts are 5 hours)
Payroll: Paid on the 5th and 20th of the month
