- Read blueprints and production drawings
- Read and use a tape measure
- Measure, cut, and fit materials
- Use hand and power tools
- Assemble structural components
- Work with wood, steel, sheet metal, drywall, plastics, and composite materials
- Perform quality inspections
- Install doors, windows, framing, and other components
- Build products from start to finish

️ WHAT YOU'LL DOYou'll work as part of a production team building walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, and other structural components.
Your day may include:
- Measuring and cutting materials
- Using hand and power tools
- Reading blueprints and layouts
- Assembling structural components
- Installing doors, windows, framing, and other materials
- Using tape measures, levels, squares, and other measuring tools
- Performing quality inspections
- Following safety and production procedures
- Working with a team to hit daily production goals
