Exercise Physiologist - Full-Time | Make Every Movement Matter
Job Description
The Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed healthcare organization in Manchester, TN and we are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Exercise Physiologist to develop and implement individualized exercise programs that support patients’ health, fitness, and overall well-being.
This role combines patient assessment, exercise programming, education, and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Schedule: Full-Time
- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate fitness levels, health conditions, and limitations
- Develop individualized exercise programs based on goals, medical history, and physical abilities
- Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques and necessary modifications
- Monitor patients during exercise sessions to ensure safety and proper form
- Educate and motivate patients on the benefits of regular physical activity
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate patient progress and treatment records
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field; Master’s preferred
- Exercise Physiologist certification, such as ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology
- Experience with patient assessments and individualized exercise programming
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving and adaptability skills
- Ability to interpret vital signs and relevant health data
