Description
Dwight Securities Management (“DSM”) is an actively managed real estate investment trust specializing in the origination and financing of commercial mortgages across a range of real estate asset classes. DSM works in conjunction with affiliate firm Dwight Capital to source and evaluate lending opportunities nationwide.

DSM is seeking an Associate to join our private wealth team. In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership across distribution, investments and product to drive distribution across wealth management channels for our real estate credit platform and private lending platform, providing high-touch support to financial advisors, institutional partners, and platform home offices.

Location: Remote Charlotte, NC

Responsibilities
• Partner with senior team members to drive capital raising and business development across targeted intermediary channels (RIAs, wirehouses, private banks, and broker-dealers)
• Conduct targeted, relationship-based outreach and virtual meetings with approved advisors and institutional partners to cultivate existing network contacts, qualify prospective opportunities, and schedule follow-up discussions, delivering institutional-quality engagement in full compliance with applicable securities regulations and firm policies
• Provide high-touch support to financial advisors and their teams by fielding inquiries regarding fund strategy, portfolio updates, performance, yield, and subscription/redemption logistics.
• Assist senior team members with platform home office needs, helping compile due diligence materials, complete shelf placement questionnaires, track product approval status, and address administrative inquiries
• Maintain precise records of all prospect interactions, sales pipelines, meeting notes, and follow-ups within the CRM database to optimize territory management and reporting.
• Assist with client and advisor meeting preparation, including assembling pitch decks, fund fact sheets, product summaries, and tailored proposal materials
• Build and maintain relationships with financial advisors, key decision-makers, and wealth management teams, delivering institutional-quality engagement in full compliance with applicable securities regulations and firm policies

Required Qualifications
• Active Series 7 and Series 63 (or Series 66) securities licenses
• 2–4+ years of experience in sales support, business development, or client service within financial services or asset management
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in financial services
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with strong presentation ability for virtual meetings and client interactions
• Experience utilizing CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and financial sales tools, along with a demonstrated ability to effectively leverage modern workflow and AI productivity tools
• Strong organizational and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
• Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Desired Qualifications
• Understanding of private real estate finance, direct lending, private REIT structures, and alternative investment product dynamics across RIA and broker-dealer channels
• Experience as an internal wholesaler or in sales support within asset management or private markets
