Era Living is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Director to become the newest member of our team located at our The Gardens at Town Square community in Bellevue, WA. Available shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday, 9:00AM to 5:30PM. Must be available to be on call for building emergencies.

Primary Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be manage maintenance and housekeeping/laundry departments at the Community; plans, develop, organizes, implement, evaluate and maintain departmental services; negotiate and maintain contracts with outside vendors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Possess basic knowledge and ability to perform all aspects of environmental services administration functions in a health care institution

  • Possess technical knowledge and mechanical ability to perform maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment generally used in a health care institution

  • Knowledge of construction principles

  • Ability to regularly inspect equipment, buildings, storage rooms, linen closets, utility and janitorial areas to ensure a safe and comfortable environment

  • Ability to hire, train and coordinate work efforts of Community Environmental Services staff

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

  • Ability to pass DSHS background check, required

Education and Experience:

  • Training in multiple building trades or other related training

  • Previous experience managing both routine maintenance and housekeeping/laundry units

  • Minimum of 5 years related facilities experience

  • Health care setting experience preferred
