This primary route-based Pest Control Specialist role focuses on delivering expert residential insect, rodent, flea, tick, and mosquito control services. The position offers a unique pathway to grow into advanced termite and rodent exclusion services as the specialty division expands. The ideal candidate will be passionate about pest management and eager to learn through an extensive in-house training academy.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting compensation of $43,000 - $55,000 annually.
  • Bonus opportunities.
  • Full-time, year-round employment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage an established residential pest control route with maximum efficiency and professionalism.
  • Execute comprehensive home insect protection, targeting common pests alongside flea, tick, and mosquito treatments.
  • Deliver effective rodent management services, including strategic baiting, trapping, and monitoring programs.
  • Diagnose pest pressures accurately within and around homes, selecting the most appropriate treatment methods and products.
  • Educate homeowners on pest prevention strategies, conducive conditions, and clear treatment expectations.
  • Maintain highly detailed and accurate service records, treatment logs, and follow-up documentation for all client visits.


Requirements

  • Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent alongside a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrate the physical ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, and absolute comfort working in confined spaces such as attics, crawlspaces, and vents.
  • Maintain a strict professional, clean-cut appearance in alignment with this non-tobacco organization's standards.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills, clear professional communication, and a self-directed, team-player work ethic.
  • Hold a current Pesticide Applicator License or possess the proven ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
  • Successfully pass a pre-employment DOT physical, criminal background check, MVR check, and a drug screening (including marijuana).
