The Shipping Crating Technician is responsible for the safe and efficient preparation,
crating, and shipping various products. This role involves loading trucks with a forklift, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and meeting tight deadlines.
· Responsible for final prep of finished product
· Responsible for crating and boxing finished product in preparation for LTL shipping
· Assemble premade protective packaging
· Assemble wood crates to protect LTL shipments
· Safely operate saw to cut lumber to length
· Safely operate pneumatic tools: nail gun, staple gun, impact wrench, etc.
· Operate forklift to place products on shipping pallets.
· Ability to lift heavy packages and operate equipment safely.
Work Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Requirements
· Ability to use basic hand tools (training provided).
· Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
· Reliable attendance and willingness to learn.
· Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods.
· Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
· Requires adherence to strict safety and compliance standards.
