Supply Manager

Overview

As a dedicated full-time Supply Manager, you will spearhead the supply department at our clinic, overseeing the seamless coordination and management of all essential resources. Your role demands robust leadership and interpersonal skills, as you will collaborate efficiently with patients, families, physicians, and community resources to ensure a well-functioning and patient-centric supply chain. With a focus on excellence, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, fostering supplier relationships, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance overall operational efficiency within the healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Confirm and process all orders through written purchase orders, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
• Assist in handling correspondence and claims related to damaged merchandise or shipment errors, facilitating returns to vendors when necessary.
• Implement proper cost allocation by ensuring various departments are accurately charged for the supplies received.
• Conduct thorough checks on invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips in coordination with incoming merchandise.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through timely updates during the receiving and issuing of supplies and equipment, while strictly adhering to HIPAA requirements and ensuring proper storage protocols.

Qualifications

Education

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED

Experience

• Working knowledge of medical terminology and experience in ordering supplies
