We're putting septic systems in the ground across the Treasure Valley and into Eastern Oregon, and we've got more work than crew. If you can set a tank, hold a grade, keep a trench safe, and pass inspection the first time - we want to talk to you.This isn't a company where you're a number on a dispatch board. You'll run your own jobs, work directly with homeowners and inspectors, and be trusted to make the call on site.What you'll doInstall complete septic systems - tanks, drainfields, pump stations, D-boxes, and sewer lateralsRun the excavator, skid steer, and trencher on residential sitesSet grade off plans and permits, and get it right the first timeRepair and replace failed systems: saturated fields, collapsed lines, bad tanks and bafflesCoordinate with the health district and be ready when the inspector shows upRestore the site so the customer is happy with how you left itDirect a helper and keep the job movingWhat you need2+ years installing septic systems (hands-on, not just watching)Solid excavator and skid steer operation in tight residential spacesAbility to read site plans and set grade on your ownValid driver's license and a clean enough record to drive our trucksWillingness to work outside year-round and start earlyAbility to pass a background check and drug screenNice to have (we'll help you get the rest)Current Idaho health district installer license or Oregon DEQ licenseClass A or B CDLPressure-distribution or mound system experiencePump, float, and control panel experienceOSHA 10/30 or trench competent-person trainingWhat we offer$25–$35 per hour depending on experience and licensing, plus overtimeYear-round work - we don't lay off in the winterMedical, dental, vision Paid time off and paid holidays Company truck, tools, uniforms, and PPE - you don't buy your own equipmentWe pay for your licensing, certifications, and CDL upgradeReal advancement - we're growing the septic division and building crew leads out of itWhy American Rooter & DrainWe're a locally owned Idaho company running plumbing, drain, septic, electrical, and HVAC under one roof.
