We are currently seeking a Fiscal Technician for the Utility Billing section of the Utility Financial Operations Division. Please review the job details below:
Position: Fiscal Technician / Utility Billing
Pay Rate: $20.00 / hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and process information from water, sewer, and IQ meter reads.
- Ensure all information is entered accurately into the billing database.
- Perform calculations for adjustments.
- Export billing data to the external printing and mailing company.
- Send reports to the County's bank for bank drafts.
- Provide information and support for internal and external customers.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong grammar skills and fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings.
- Accounting experience is preferred.
