What You'll Do

As a Substitute Teacher, you will:

• Lead the classroom by following the teacher's lesson plans
• Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
• Encourage student participation and keep students on task throughout the day
• Maintain classroom expectations and manage student behavior professionally
• Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transitions
• Communicate effectively with teachers and school administrators regarding the day's activities and any student concerns

What We're Looking For

• Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree
• At least one year of childcare, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth programs, or related experience preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, adaptable, and professional
• A passion for helping students succeed in a K–12 educational setting
