As a Substitute Teacher, you will:
- Lead the classroom by following the teacher's lesson plans
- Create a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
- Encourage student participation and keep students on task throughout the day
- Maintain classroom expectations and manage student behavior professionally
- Supervise students during classroom activities, lunch, recess, and transitions
- Communicate effectively with teachers and school administrators regarding the day's activities and any student concerns
- Minimum of 60 college credit hours or an Associate's Degree
- At least one year of childcare, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, youth programs, or related experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, adaptable, and professional
- A passion for helping students succeed in a K–12 educational setting
