$45,000 per year
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Marysville, Ohio (onsite)

What You’ll Do:
  • Support a law firm’s real estate practice with residential and agricultural transactions
  • Fully officebased role with regular interaction with local clients and professionals in a rural community
  • Review purchase agreements, deeds, lender instructions, and related documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Order and review title searches, tax records, surveys, and due diligence materials
  • Prepare title commitments, title policies, and related documents in compliance with Ohio law and underwriter requirements
  • Examine title reports for liens, easements, encumbrances, and other title issues
  • Assist attorneys in resolving title defects, including obtaining releases and corrective documents
  • Prepare closing statements, deeds, affidavits, and other closing documents
  • Coordinate with lenders, real estate agents, surveyors, and county offices to ensure timely closings
  • Record documents with the county recorder’s offices and manages postclosing requirements
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper client files in accordance with firm policies
  • Provide professional, courteous service to local and repeat community clients
What We’re Looking For:
  • Experience in a law firm, title agency, or real estate setting preferred (1–3 years)
  • Working knowledge of Ohio real estate practices and title standards
  • Ohio Notary Public commission or willingness to obtain
  • Experience with title/closing software (e.g., SoftPro) is a plus
  • Comfortable working with county and local government offices
  • Familiarity with rural property and agricultural transactions is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and attentiontodetail skills
  • Clientfocused, teamoriented, and able to manage multiple deadlines
  • High school diploma required; related coursework or education preferred
  • Standard business hours with some flexibility during closings
