About This Role
Bush Hill Day School seeks a dependable and nurturing Music Teacher to join our close-knit team, providing a supportive environment where a love of music education can thrive. Our learn-through-play preschool program caters to children aged 2-5, with a focus on hands-on learning, social-emotional development, and inclusivity. As a Music Teacher, you'll be part of a collaborative environment that values professionalism, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.
This part-time position would include teaching three 30 minute music classes per week to three age groups (2 to 3 year olds, 3 to 4 year olds,and 4 to 5 year olds).
With our emphasis on creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment, we're looking for an educator who can manage and create a music class that is fun, engaging, interactive and age appropriate.

What You'll Do
- Creating and Implementing/Delivering engaging, developmentally appropriate music lessons that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students.
- Establish a warm and welcoming music class atmosphere, where children feel safe, supported, and excited to interact and engage in the music class.
Requirements
- Music classes are offered for 3 age groups (2/3yos, 3/4yos, and 4/5yos)
- Classes are offered on Thursdays and Fridays, October through the first week of May.
- 3 classes per day (10:30am - 11:30am) Those classes are 30 minutes in length (1.5 hours/ day; 3 hours/week)
