We are seeking a highly organized, friendly, and professional Patient Services Coordinator to join our medical team. As the first point of contact for patients, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, managing patient schedules, and ensuring the smooth operations of our office. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Greet and check in patients as they arrive at the officeAnswer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiriesVerify and update patient information in the electronic medical record systemCollect patient demographics, insurance details, and patient financial responsibilityVerify insurance benefits including contact insurance companies for copays and deductiblesCalculate and collect patient copays and deductibles due including overdue balancesAssist patients with forms, medical records, and other documentation as neededCoordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flowHandle patient complaints and concerns in a professional mannerMaintain a clean and welcoming reception areaPerform general office duties such as filing, faxing and mailingQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in a medical office setting requiredBasic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsProficient with office software (EHR, Microsoft Office, etc)Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive informationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
