About the Role:

Seeking a dedicated support professional to provide person-centered care for an independent adult client in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities & Support Needs:

• Behavioral & Emotional Support: Utilize sensory tools (e.g., ice cubes, hot showers), intense exercise distractions, and calming words to assist the client when agitated.
• Daily Living Assistance: Provide reminders for self-care and medical tasks, and offer necessary support to ensure medication is taken safely.
• Independent Living Goals: Assist the client in navigating community activities, utilizing public transit, and searching for long-term independent housing.
• Financial & Administrative Help: Help the client manage day-to-day spending and monthly bill obligations.

Ideal Candidate Qualities:

• Patient, respectful of client autonomy, and encouraging.
• Experienced with complex mental health, autism, or behavioral support needs.
