POSITION DUTIES:
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
- Assess clients' mental health condition through interviews, tests, and collaboration.
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical expertise.
- Engage in supervision with the Behavioral Health Supervisor.
- Complete Therapeutic Behavior Supports (TBS) as required.
- Assist clients in preparing treatment program work material.
- Maintain client charting according to professional and regulatory standards.
- Ensure confidentiality and prepare documentation for discharge and aftercare referral.
- Act ethically and legally in clinical work, consulting with the supervisor as needed.
- Comply with agency policies and procedures, including HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in orientation, compliance training, staff meetings, and development programs.
- Demonstrate good attendance and punctuality.
- Perform telehealth services as appropriate.
- Work effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Think creatively and handle difficult situations calmly.
- Utilize technology effectively for behavioral strategies.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services.
- Experience in the field of developmental/intellectual disabilities.
- Valid license as an LPC or LPCC.
- Maintained professional licensure and/or certification.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to guide, influence, and communicate effectively.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with disabled individuals and their families.
- Possession of a valid Ohio Driver's License, personal vehicle, appropriate driving record, and insurance coverage (as required by policy and/or insurance carriers).
