Summary
The Receiving Inspector approves incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Performs Quality Inspection duties for incoming materials
Operates CMM-Vision Systems programed by Quality Engineers
Utilizes various inspection techniques and tools to ensure that vendor-supplied products confirm to standards.
Verifies certification of processes and material on incoming products.
Records incoming inspection data and maintains inspection records
Assists with final inspection duties, when required
Requirements
Minimum 1-year experience in a Quality role
Computer literate
Able to read and understand Manufacturing Instructions.
Understanding of QMS requirements for compliance with regulatory and customer specifications.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to plan and problem solve
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Must be able to read, speak and write English
