Fuel smiles, nourish bodies, build connections.

Crave a role that feeds your soul alongside the residents you serve? At Holy Trinity, we're not just dishing up delicious meals—we’re building a community where every plate whispers "care."

We are seeking an experienced Dietary Aide Supervisor to lead our floor operations, elevate the dining experience, and be a hands-on guide for our dietary team. If you bring healthcare food service experience, a passion for resident care, and strong leadership skills, we’d love to have you on our team!

What You’ll Do (Role Overview)

As our Dietary Aide Supervisor, you will lead daily lunch and dinner services, track resident meal preferences, audit unit kitchenettes, and keep our kitchen running smoothly and safely. You’ll also serve as the key point-person when stepping up to assist or cover for the Food & Nutrition Services Director.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Service Leadership: Supervise lunch (11:15 AM) and dinner (4:15 PM) services. Lead beverage, soup, salad, entree, and dessert delivery in coordination with nursing and kitchen staff.

  • Resident Preferences & Diet Tracking: Visit residents across units (Hillside, Courtyard, Village) to collect meal choices, update diet tickets, and log nuances into our meal tracker.

  • Safety & Sanitation: Monitor fridge/freezer temperatures, oversee dish machine operations, and ensure steam tables, dining rooms, and service carts are properly sanitized and broken down safely.

  • Floor & Par Stocking: Audit unit kitchenettes daily. Deep-clean drawers/fridges, manage inventory via par lists, and strictly enforce food rotation (FIFO) and labeling.

  • Director Coverage: Step in to place vendor food/supply orders before 3:00 PM on order days, reassign floor coverage during short-staffing, and communicate schedule updates across departments.

Typical Shift Schedule (9:30 AM – 6:30 PM)
  • 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM: Clock in, review resident diet preference lists with the Director, and prep the daily run.

  • 10:30 AM – 1:15 PM: Dining room setup, steam table prep, lunch meal service, dish breakdown, and dining room reset.

  • 1:15 PM – 1:45 PM: Lunch Break.

  • 1:45 PM – 3:30 PM: Resident preference visits and floor kitchenette audits/restocking according to par lists.

  • 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Evening setup, dinner service execution, final dish runs, sanitation of bus carts, and shift check-out.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of food service experience in healthcare (long-term care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or hospital) required.

  • Leadership: Prior experience as a Dietary Lead, Shift Supervisor, or Senior Dietary Aide strongly preferred.

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with therapeutic diets, texture modifications, food safety protocols, and par-level inventory management.

  • Soft Skills: Warm, empathetic customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with seniors and clinical staff.

  • Certifications: ServSafe Food Handler preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) and holiday pay

  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match
