POSITION OVERVIEW – Business Analyst II - Pricing Analyst
This role keeps Samsung's quoting process accurate and moving fast. Day-to-day, that means reviewing 15–20 quotes daily in Salesforce, evaluating each for optimal pricing within approved parameters, and providing first-level approval — escalating anything outside normal parameters to the team lead. Working closely with sales teams, this role translates customer requirements into precise, defensible pricing, keeping quote data current and reliable throughout the sales cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare detailed quotations using templates and pricing structures
  • Analyze customer requirements and specifications to determine products and pricing
  • Collaborate with sales teams to gather necessary information for quote preparation
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, macros) to perform complex calculations and analyze data
  • Create and update opportunities, products, price books, and quotes within Salesforce
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency across all quoted materials
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding quote status updates
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3–5 years of experience in a business/analytics role; entry-level candidates will be considered if Excel and analytical skills are strong
  • Expert-level Microsoft Excel proficiency required; Macros/VBA scripting is preferred but not mandatory
  • Comfortable working with numbers and datasets with minimal guidance, with the ability to connect Excel outputs to business profitability logic
  • Excellent analytical abilities with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality outputs
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fortune 500 or corporate environment experience preferred; home appliance/B2B industry experience a plus but not required
  • Salesforce experience is a strong plus, not strictly required — team can train
  • Revenue planning experience is a soft preference, not required
MUST HAVE
  • Expert-level Excel proficiency (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas)
  • Analytical mindset and business acumen; pricing-specific experience (preferred)
  • Teachable, professional, and comfortable working independently with datasets
