What You'll Do
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will work directly with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver outstanding patient care. Responsibilities include:
- Rooming patients and preparing them for visits
- Collecting medical histories and documenting information in the electronic medical record
- Assisting providers with dermatologic procedures and treatments
- Administering medications and injections as directed
- Providing patient education and follow-up instructions
- Coordinating lab results, referrals, and medical records
- Maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
- Supporting efficient clinic flow and a positive patient experience
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
- Current Medical Assistant Certification required
- Current CPR certification
- Previous clinical experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
