Clinical Manager, Organ RecoveryDonorConnect is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Manager, Organ Recovery to oversee, support, and guide the Organ Recovery department. Our employees help save and heal lives!The Clinical Manager, Organ Recovery is responsible for the supervision, management and training of positions supervised. Responsible for the daily operations of organ recovery pertaining to the positions supervised. This position coordinates organ procurement functions and activities of Organ Donation Coordinators, ensuring that all DonorConnect, UNOS, and AOPO policies, programs, objectives and strategies are supported. Ensures that services are professionally and efficiently delivered. Collaborates with the Operations Manager, Organ Recovery; Organ Recovery Supervisors; Organ Referral Manager, Organ Recovery; and Referral Supervisor, Organ Recovery on a regular basis.We at DonorConnect expect our employees to embody our I CARE+ values of integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect and expertise.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Training/Education/Certification:Maintain healthcare licensure (RN Preferred)Bachelor's degree preferred, and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experienceExperience Required:Minimum of five years' healthcare experience, OPO preferred with relevant outside work experience consideredKnowledge/Skills/Abilities:Knowledge of the organ and tissue transplant fieldsUnderstanding of the critical care environmentKnowledge of computer hardware and softwareAble to manage a brain-dead donor through independent critical thinking and problem solving, priority setting, and resourcefulnessExcellent public relations and interpersonal abilitiesSolid oral and written communication skillsAttentive to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsAble to work well with all levels of personnel in hospital settings and within the differing guidelines of each institutionWillingness to train and assist othersAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to move up to 70 pounds with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to stoop, squat, or bend frequentlyExposure to patient elements including communicable disease, bloodborne pathogens, and other common hazards of a clinical settingAbility to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writingDonorConnect is a PROUD Equal Opportunity Employer who Values Diversity in Both Experience and Background!Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
