EDD Equipment Build Operations Supervisor
Job Description
Step onto the production floor of our Equipment Design & Development (EDD) department and set the pace. You’ll kick off the day aligning EDD technicians around priorities, translating the production schedule into clear assignments, and removing roadblocks before they slow the team down. As the go-to working supervisor, you’ll keep work orders moving in the ERP, coordinate equipment builds, repairs, and rebuilds, and verify every shipment leaves with the right documentation—on time and to spec.
Midday, you’re inspecting finished equipment for quality, collaborating with Quality to resolve issues, and coaching technicians on standard work. You’ll keep a close eye on parts and tooling so the team never stalls, jump in to help organize materials and inventory counts, and ensure PPE is used and the area stays clean and safe. Before you wrap, you’ll update Customer Service on status, flag any delays to management, and partner with Engineering and Operations on new builds and prototype tests.
