This position keeps dining and service areas clean, organized, stocked, and guest-ready while assisting servers, runners, hosts, bartenders, culinary staff, and management.ResponsibilitiesSet, clean, and reset tables and chairs according to venue standards.Assist with linens, silverware, glassware, napkins, water, bread service, and tabletop items.Clear plates, glassware, silverware, linens, and trash promptly and respectfully.Maintain water service and keep tables guest-ready throughout the event.Keep dining areas, service stations, bus stations, and guest pathways clean and organized.Safely transport dishes, glassware, linens, trash, and service supplies.Assist servers and food runners with table turns and service needs.Quickly address spills, broken glass, debris, and other safety or cleanliness concerns.Support event setup, intermission service, and post-event breakdown.Restock and return supplies and equipment to designated locations.Communicate guest needs, safety issues, and operational concerns to management.Assist other team members and departments as needed.QualificationsReliable, punctual, and hardworking.Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced event environment.Able to stand and walk for extended periods and safely lift and carry service items.Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and guest service.Able to follow direction and work with a sense of urgency.Previous restaurant, catering, banquet, or event experience is a plus but not required.Must be available weekends and holidaysFlexible scheduling required Benefits* Paid time off and holidays* UNITE HERE Local 2 Union benefits package* Meal provided during shift* Professional development opportunitiesPhysical Requirements* Stand and walk for extended periods* Bend, stoop, and reach frequently* Lift and carry up to 50 pounds* Push and pull food service equipment and supplies* Work in various temperature conditionsEqual Employment OpportunityGlobal Gourmet Catering is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
