BBA Afterschool Inc. is hiring enthusiastic, dependable, and energetic After-School Sports Coaches to lead fun and engaging Soccer or Flag Football programs for elementary-aged students in Baltimore, MD.

Position Details

• Part-time, after-school position
• Monday through Friday
• Afternoon after-school hours
• 1.5-hour sessions
• $37.50 per session ($25 per hour)
• No weekends
• No lesson planning required
• Curriculum and equipment provided
• In-person position in Baltimore

Sports Offered

Coaches will lead one or both of the following programs:

• Soccer
• Flag Football

Experience in both sports is a plus, but you only need to be qualified and comfortable coaching one.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging soccer or flag football sessions for elementary students
• Teach age-appropriate fundamentals and skills
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive behavior
• Follow BBA's structured curriculum and activities
• Create a fun, safe, and inclusive learning environment
• Supervise groups of approximately 15–25 students
• Encourage participation, confidence, and skill development
• Communicate professionally with school staff and BBA leadership

Qualifications

• Soccer or flag football playing/coaching experience preferred but not required
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Comfortable working with students in grades K–5
• Reliable transportation to schools throughout Baltimore County
• Dependable and punctual
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Must successfully complete the required Baltimore County Public Schools background check and fingerprinting process
