**Qualifications

**

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Massachusetts driver's license required
• Manufacturing experience preferred
• Team player with strong attention to detail
• Ability to stand, reach, bend, and push
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Forklift experience preferred

**Responsibilities

**

• Work safely and follow all safety procedures
• Operate and monitor production equipment
• Manage production from raw materials through final quality control
• Produce various rod types according to the production schedule
• Balance mixing, extrusion, drying, cutting, and firing processes to meet production requirements
• Track and manage materials and consumables
• Troubleshoot quality and production issues with engineering and management
• Complete production and quality records
• Perform equipment start-up, shutdown, and cleanouts
• Adjust processing parameters to meet product specifications
• Store raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods properly
• Operate forklifts to move materials and pallets
• Work at elevated heights using ladders or platforms when required
• Pack finished goods for shipment
• Load and unload trucks as needed
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment
