We are seeking a dependable and engaging caregiver for a companion and personal support position. The caregiver will work closely with one client, providing support and meaningful activities at home and in the community
Responsibilities Include:
- Taking the client out into the community for activities and outings
- Assisting and teaching him basic cooking skills
- Providing support and transportation to his Special Olympics practices and events
- Offering companionship, encouragement, and support throughout the day
Requirements:
- Must have a reliable vehicle to transport the client into the community
- Must have or be willing to obtain CPR certification
- Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
Schedule:
11 AM – 5 PM
Monday, Wednesday, and Friday
