Community Engagement Specialist

Hills & Dales is seeking a passionate and organized Community Engagement Specialist to help advance our mission through fundraising, community outreach, volunteer engagement, and communications.In this role, you will support fundraising campaigns, donor relations, special events, volunteer coordination, social media, and marketing initiatives that increase awareness and support for our organization.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with fundraising campaigns, donor communications, and special eventsMaintain donor records and track contributions in the databaseCoordinate volunteer recruitment, orientation, and recognitionManage social media scheduling and community engagement activitiesAssist with newsletters, marketing materials, website updates, and publicationsSupport grant research and writing effortsBuild relationships with community organizations, businesses, and donorsRepresent Hills & Dales at community events and presentationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailExperience with databases, data entry, and Microsoft Office applicationsKnowledge of social media, marketing, or fundraising practices preferredAbility to work independently and collaborativelyValid driver's license and ability to travel locally as neededWhy Join Hills & Dales?Be part of a mission-driven team dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families.
