Charlie’s L’Etoile Verte is seeking an energetic, dependable part-time Busser to join our front-of-house team. We are a French-inspired coastal bistro known for fresh local seafood, attentive service, and a warm dining experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, stays organized in a fast-paced restaurant environment, and is flexible to work both lunch and dinner shifts.

Position Details

• Job Type: Part-time
• Location: In person at Charlie’s L’Etoile Verte, Hilton Head Island, SC
• Schedule: Flexible availability for lunch and dinner shifts; lunch service is typically Monday–Friday and dinner service is typically Monday–Saturday
• Pay: Competitive hourly pay; based on experience

Responsibilities

• Clear, reset, and prepare tables efficiently during service
• Support servers by keeping the dining room clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Assist with running food, refilling water, and maintaining service stations as needed
• Help maintain cleanliness standards in guest areas, service areas, and restrooms
• Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure smooth lunch and dinner service
• Follow restaurant procedures for safety, sanitation, and professional guest service

Qualifications

• Previous full-service restaurant experience preferred
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay focused during busy shifts
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying items throughout service
• Local candidates in Hilton Head Island or Bluffton preferred
